Hancocks white triangular tailors chalk . Tradional tailors chalk made from china clay. These chalks are made so that mark(s) will stay on while work is in progress but are easily brushed off when work is finished. Customers are advised to test the fabric before starting work as some times the chemical finish in the cloth reacts with the chalk making it difficult to remove. If in doubt make the marks on the reverse of the fabric.
